Description
VIDEX RESIST circuit breaker is designed to protect electrical networks from overcurrent and short circuits.
The magnetic disconnector actuates the release mechanism instantaneously with a significant increase in current.
Class A bimetallic strip protects against overload and turns off the power in case of current overload.
Both releases open the circuit breaker (break the circuit) in the event of overcurrents.
The circuit breaker has a short circuit breaking capacity of 4500 A - this is quite enough for most cases when current protection is needed.
The tripping characteristic "C" means that the magnetic release of the circuit breaker will trip if the current is 5-10 times higher than the nominal value. This is a universal option that is used in most cases.
It is possible to connect additional equipment for automatic protection.
The body is made of fireproof polyamide grade VO, which can withstand up to 960°C.
