Algorithm for selecting street lighting fixtures

1. Lighting area — the larger the area, the greater the power.
2. Mounting type — on a wall, console, support, or in the ground?
3. Presence of motion/twilight sensor — automation saves up to 80% of electricity.
4. Installation height — the higher, the wider the angle and the greater the lumen.
5. Design — For a private home, aesthetics are just as important as power.

Practical advice: for the yard up to 50 m² an LED spotlight with a power of 30–50 W with a scattering angle 120°.
